We have been supplying Gerard of Salter & King Butchers in Aldeburgh with Iken Red ‘Old Cows’ since 2015 – the British equivalent of rubia gallega (or vaca vieja), which is popular in Spain.
In May 2018 Gerard hosted a BBQ on the farm for local chefs and food writers to come and see our herd grazing on their lush green water meadows at Iken whilst trying different cuts of Old Cow cooked over the coals.
